背景：
秀逗魔導士莉娜和她妹妹水晶室女莉萊從小就合不來，她們從童年開始就你來我往的爭鬥成為了當地人津津樂道的傳奇故事。莉娜總是占上風，如果說水晶室女的天性純良而誠實，那麼莉娜則是火爆中帶著放縱和聰慧。在兩人分別用冰和火毀掉了一大半房子以後，她們氣急敗壞的父母終於意識到兩人必須分開。作為姐姐，莉娜被送到了遙遠的南方，紛爭之國的燃燒沙漠，和她有耐心的姑媽一起生活，這裡的氣候對這位火爆的魔導士來說其實更舒服。她的到來讓一潭死水的當地泛起了不小的漣漪，許多男人試圖追求她，最後卻拖著燒焦的手指頭或者只剩半邊的眉毛以及被摧毀的自信心狼狽離開。莉娜非常自信且驕傲，沒有任何事物能抑制她的火焰。
