Units that die near Visage regenerate him and give him bonus damage. Enemies' denies don't count.
- This ability got reworked into the current Soul Assumption in the 6.65 gameplay patch.
- The attack damage bonus and healing effect are applied instantly when a unit dies in the radius.
- The attack damage bonus given by a unit's death lasts for 30 seconds, independently of other unit's deaths.
- Grant a total of 12/24/36/96 attack damage when having max stacks.
Soul Assumption (6.00-Pre 6.50)[]
Adds extra damage to attacks. Units killed while under the effect of Soul Assumption will give Visage life.
- This ability got reworked into the following Soul Assumption (6.50–6.64) in the 6.50 gameplay patch.
- Soul Assumption is a Unique Attack Modifier, and does not stack with other Unique Attack Modifiers.
- When used, the attack deals more damage and places a debuff. When the unit dies with this debuff on, Visage gets healed.
- Can be used on, but does not heal off of Centaur Conquerors, Black Drakes, Ghosts, illusions and summons.
- Cannot be used on buildings, wards, siege creeps and allied units.

Short distance teleportation that allows one to move in and out of combat.

- Disjoints projectiles upon cast.
- Does not blink for the full distance when targeting closer than the max distance.
- When targeting beyond the max blink distance, blinks for 800/860/920/920 range towards the targeted direction, instead of 1000/1075/1150/1150.

Visage's tough scales share equal properties of ghost and stone, making it nearly impervious to blade and magical assault.
- This ability got reworked into the current Gravekeeper's Cloak in the 7.00 gameplay patch.
- Every time when Visage takes 15 or more damage (after all reductions) from a player (including allies, excluding himself), a layer is removed after the damage instance.
- This is how much armor and magic resistance each amount of layers grants on each level, and how high Visage's total magic resistance is, considering only base magic resistance:
- Level 1: 0/1.5/3/4.5/6 armor, 0%/5%/10%/15%/20% magic resistance, 10%/14.5%/19%/23.5%/28% total magic resistance
- Level 2: 0/3/6/9/12 armor, 0%/10%/20%/30%/40% magic resistance, 10%/19%/28%/37%/46% total magic resistance
- Level 3: 0/4.5/9/13.5/18 armor, 0%/15%/30%/45%/60% magic resistance, 10%/23.5%/37%/50.5%/64% total magic resistance

- Reflects all 3 damage types.
- Visage does not feel the reflected damage.
- All allies are healed for the full amount, it is not spread.
- Does not heal Visage himself.
- Before 6.50, this ability used to damage enemies, instead of healing allies, within a 600 radius. It reflected 5%/10%/15%/20% damage back to enemies.

Links units together, causing them to share their torment.

- This ability got replaced by the following Gravekeeper's Cloak (Pre 6.65) in the 6.20 gameplay patch.
- Can only be cast on, and can only bind own units.
- Binds the targets closest to each other, not necessarily to the caster.
- Distributes the damage before any reductions or amplifications.
- The spread damage is lethal. Kill credits go to whoever was the last source of damage.
Mana Burn (5.77-Pre 6.00)[]
Sends a bolt of negative energy that burns a target enemy unit's mana. Burned mana combusts, dealing damage to the target equal to the amount of mana burned.

- The Gargoyles are always spawned on top of the corpse.
- When raising a new Gargoyle while already having maximum allowed Gargoyles, the oldest Gargoyle will die.
- Gargoyles have 2 different attack values and types. One is only used against flying units and the other against ground units.
- The attack against flying units is melee, while the attack against ground units is ranged.

- This ability belonged to the Gargoyle.
- During the transformation, the Gargoyle can't do anything. Cannot be interrupted.
- Turns the Gargoyle spell immune and unable to move and attack. Stone Form lasts until manually leaving it.
- When having multiple Gargoyles selected, all of them use this at once when ordering a cast.
- While in stone form, Gargoyles have their health set to 410 (current health percentage adapts) and their vision changed to ground vision.
- The Gargoyle can leave Stone Form at any time. The transformation time is not used upon leaving Stone Form. It is instant.
- The cooldown starts upon leaving Stone Form, not upon entering it.
Nuke (Pre 4.00beta2)[]
Nukes a enemy unit or a building.
- This ability was replaced with Progenerate Gargoyle in the 4.00beta2 gameplay patch.
- Nuke travels at a speed of 1000.
Armor Corruption (7.23e-7.31)[]
- Successive attacks do not stack the debuff, but refresh the duration instead.
- The attacks first apply the debuff, then their own damage.
- Works against wards, buildings, and allied units.
- Fully stacks with any other items or other sources of Armor Corruption.
