Magical
Calls down 3 waves of fire that damage all units in an area. Each wave deals initial damage and then burns enemies for 3 seconds. Deals 30% damage to structures.
Cast Range: 750
Radius: 400
Max Channel Time: 3
Number of Waves: 3
Wave Interval: 1
Damage per Wave: 55/80/105/130

Notes:

  • This ability replaced the current Firestorm in the 6.72 gameplay patch, but was reverted to the current one in the 6.75 gameplay patch.
  • Each wave takes 1 second to come down, so the first wave hits 1 second after channel start and the last wave 3 seconds after channel start.
    • This means the last second of the channeling can be canceled without wasting any wave, since the last wave already spawns 2 seconds after channel start.
  • The burn debuff does not stack per interval. Each interval refreshes its duration, resulting in 5 possible burn damage intervals.
  • Deals 16.5/24/31.5/39 damage per wave + 5 damage per second to buildings.
  • Can deal up to 133/315/390/475 total damage to units (before reductions) when all waves hit and the debuff is not dispelled.
  • Can deal up to 74.5/97/119.5/142 damage to buildings.

Dark Rift (6.45-7.30e)[]

Dark Rift icon.png
Opens a dark rift at the targeted friendly unit's or building's position. After a short delay, Underlord and all nearby friendly heroes are teleported to that unit's location. Dark Rift can be cancelled at anytime during the cast. If it is cancelled in this way or the target unit dies before the spell becomes active, Dark Rift goes into cooldown.

Death
They come without warning, leaving fire and blood where kingdoms once flourished.

Notes:

  • Can target and teleport to invulnerable units. Cannot target hidden units, but the teleport still happens if the target turns hidden after being targeted.
    • When ground-targeted, it searches for the nearest valid target on the map and teleports towards it.
  • The visual effects around Underlord and on the teleport target are visible to everyone.
  • The targeted unit's priority is lowered, meaning it is attacked as the last auto-attack target by other units.
  • Disjoints projectiles upon teleporting for everyone who gets teleported.
  • Can only teleport heroes, illusions, clones, and creep-heroes.
    • Can teleport them even while invulnerable or hidden.
  • When Underlord or the teleport target dies during the delay, Dark Rift is canceled.

Dark Portal (Pre 6.45)[]

Dark Portal
Pierces spell immunity. RD
Dark Rift icon.png
Opens a rift that pass through the netherworld at his present position and a target position simultaneously. Heroes can walk through the gates once to cross the distance between them in an instant by clicking on the center of it. Lasts 60 seconds.
Cast Range: Global
Channel Time: 6/5/4
Portal Duration: 60
Cooldown: 200
Mana: 200/100/0

Notes:

  • This ability got replaced by Dark Rift in the 6.45 gameplay patch.
  • On level 1 and 2, it can only be targeted at points the player has vision on. Level 3, it can also be targeted inside the Fog of War.
  • Creates 2 teleporting gates, one in front of the player and one at the targeted point. The gates face each other based on the caster's facing angle.
  • The gates appear as the channeling finishes. Canceling it wastes the spell with no effect.
  • Cannot target the base area of either team. Cannot be cast either when standing in the base areas.
  • Cannot target cliffs or areas which would result in the players getting stuck.
  • Destroys trees in front of both gates upon spawning the gates.
  • Heroes are teleported when they get within 150 range of a gate. Each hero can only be teleported once per cast.
