The International 10 Battle Pass is a tournament pass and features bundle made for The International 2020. It is similar to past compendiums and contains numerous quests, achievements, and earnable rewards for its owner. Battle Pass owners will have access to the Aghanim's Labyrinth game mode, as well as a Cavern Crawl to unlock equipment sets.
This year, players will be able to earn two new exclusive Personas: The Toy Butcher for Pudge and The Disciple's Path for Anti-Mage. In addition, players can earn three new Arcana exclusive to this year's Battle Pass: The One True King Bundle for Wraith King, Eminence of Ristul for Queen of Pain, and Compass of the Rising Gale for Windranger.
25% of the proceeds will go towards the tournament prize pool.
Battle Points[]
- Battle points are used to level up the Battle Pass. 1,000 points are required for each level.

Battle Gauntlet[]
- Battle Pass owners can enter a Gauntlet challenge at specific times of the day.
- Gauntlet matches are bracketed into skill tiers from Tier I (lowest) to Tier X (highest). Players are assigned to Tier I, II, or III when they redeem their first ticket, according to their ranked MMR.
- Win three matches to advance in tier, and win 1,500 Battle Points, 1,000 Shards, and 200 Sideshop Gold.
- Lose two matches and the Gauntlet is over. Skill tier does not decrease.

Bounty Killing[]
- Each week, players get International 10 Bounty Tokens that can be used to place a bounty on enemy heroes.
- Any ally that kills the targeted hero will earn 200 Battle Points.
- The player that placed the bounty will not earn any Battle Points for killing the target.
- If nobody kills the target, your bounty token will not be spent.

Wagering[]
- Tokens can be wagered at the beginning of a match.
- Each week, Battle Pass owners will be granted 1000 tokens, with weekly bonuses scaling according to Battle Pass level.
- Winning a match will earn the player Battle Points equal to double the amount of tokens wagered.
- Winners do not receive the losing team's total wagered tokens.
- Tokens expire at the end of each week, regardless of whether or not they have been used.
- Players can earn Battle Point Tributes that allows them to add a 100%, 200%, or 300% multiplier to their entire team's wager.
- Successful winning streaks increase Battle Point earnings by 25%, 50%, and 75% consecutively.
Tipping[]
- Players can tip other players during a match.
- Up to 3 tips per match or 10 tips per week may be awarded.
- Tips do not come from the player's own battle points.
- Players without a Battle Pass accrue tips and can redeem them once they activate a Battle Pass.
- Players with higher level Battle Passes will tip for more.

Community Predictions[]
- Each day, the system selects a match, and the community can predict the outcome of that match. Results are revealed the next day.
- Correct predictions will earn progress towards certain achievements.
Cavern Crawl[]
Nightsilver and Foulfell maps with unlockable hero equipment
- Players can explore a network of rooms in Nightsilver by winning matches with random heroes.
- Wins in Turbo Mode count as half a win.
- After clearing each room, new paths open up and loot is discovered.
- Find three style unlock fragments to unlock an extra style for a reward equipment set.
- Find three keys to unlock a second map, Foulfell, with three extra equipment style unlock items.
- Some rooms contain obstacles or helpful items. Players can hold four items in their inventory to use on rooms or hallways.

Aghanim's Labyrinth[]

Aghanim's Labyrinth is a special game mode for Battle Pass owners, in which four players battle Aghanim's monstrous creatures for rewards. Battle Pass is not required to play, but owners get extra rewards.
Consumables[]
- Four special consumable items are available during The International 10. They provide minor cosmetic effects in-game and do not affect mechanics.
- Consumables appear on top of the in-game abilities panel, and do not count as visible items.
- Consumables can be obtained by gaining Battle Pass levels.
- All consumables come with 10 charges and have a 30 seconds shared cooldown.
- Click on a consumable for more details.

Guilds[]
- Battle Pass owners can create Guilds.
- Guilds can be leveled up with Guild Points, which will earn rewards for its members.
- Guilds can complete daily contracts (quests) for Guild Points and Battle Points. These contracts can be done alone. After leaving the guild contracts timer is not reset.
- Guilds can complete weekly challenges for Guild Points. These challenges must be done in a party with at least 3 guild members.
- Guild Points can also be earned by simply playing matches. Matches played in a party with guild mates will earn more Guild Points. Losing nets 30+10*(number of guild members in a team excluding you) and winning nets twice the losing amount (not confirmed)
- Guild members can display their Guild Banners in-game.

Queue Trivia[]
Trivia questions are asked while players are waiting in queue.
- Answer trivia questions while queuing to win trivia points.
- Earn trivia points to obtain Battle Pass achievements, which in turn grants Battle Points.
- 100 trivia points are granted for every correct answer, with slightly more if the question is difficult.
- More trivia points are earned if less than 50% of players answer the question correctly.
Most Valuable Player[]
- After each match, the system selects an MVP based on internal analyses.
- Players who are crowned MVP multiple times will earn achievement rewards.
Gifting[]
- Players can gift Battle Passes to Steam friends in order to earn Battle Points and special titles, which appear on the profile and versus screens.

Arcana Vote[]
- Players have 16 votes per week to vote for the next hero to receive an Arcana item. Eligible heroes are split into four single elimination brackets.
- Votes can be stacked on the same hero.
- Unused Votes do not roll over.
- More votes per week can be earned by leveling the Battle Pass.
- Further 12 votes per week can be earned by reaching level 4 in a Guild.

- The Sideshop allows players to buy heroes with Sideshop Gold, which is obtained by leveling the Battle Pass, earning Guild rewards, or recycling items.
- Although removed from Battle Pass, it can still be accessed by using console command
dota_show_sideshop. - Heroes can be sold for
Red Gems and Blue Gems, which are used to buy items and rewards from the Sideshop.
- Duplicate heroes are combined to make more valuable versions of the same hero, which are sold for more gems. Three 1-star heroes combine to make a 2-star hero, and three 2-star heroes combine to make a 3-star hero.
- Available heroes can be rerolled with 2 Sideshop Gold.
- Rerolling gives players a very small chance of obtaining the Emblem of Divinity.
