The style and focus of this article is quite poor and needs a rewrite. The object of any wiki is to provide a fact-based summary surrounding a topic, not to provide a personal opinion piece. In terms of focus, this article seems to sway too much into meta-game discussion which should probably be on it's own page.
Comments like "The appearance of teams naturally led to contests. During the 6.2x era, there weren't many competitions. Everyone learned from each other by comparing their views on how to play the game. The records we have on matches back then doesn't amount to much.
