- Requires Aghanim's Shard to be unlocked.
- This ability is not available in Ability Draft, due to its reliance on a non-ultimate ability, which are limited to one ability slot.
- Electric Rave interrupts Storm Spirit's channeling spells upon cast.
- Triggers Overload upon cast as well, and fully stacks with it on the same attack.
- The buff is only placed on allied heroes, including clones and creep-heroes, excluding illusions.
- The buff is not placed on invulnerable or hidden units.
- The Overload values for the buff are set upon cast, and do not adapt if it gets leveled up after cast.
- If Overload is not learnt, does nothing upon cast.
- The Overload effect applied by an ally is credited to that ally, and not to Storm Spirit.
- The Overload talents fully affected Electric Rave as well, even when applied by an ally.
- This includes the level 25 talent, causing the ally's attack to bounce, using Storm Spirit's projectile speed.
- However, unlike the initial Overload, the bounces are always credited to Storm Spirit, and not to the ally.
- The number of charges is visible on the buff's icon.
- Recasting Electric Rave refreshes the buff's duration and resets the charges.

- This ability got replaced by Ball Lightning in the 6.58 gameplay patch.
- Storm Spirit and pulled units travel at a speed of 1200.
- Lightning Grapple cannot be cast on cliff areas.
- Any enemy hero that comes within 200 radius of Storm Spirit while he travels to the targeted point gets pulled with him.
- Does not turn Storm Spirit or any affected unit invulnerable for the duration.
- Storm Spirit and affected units can still attack, use items and cast abilities while being pulled.
- Destroys trees within a 200 radius around Storm Spirit upon reaching the targeted point.
- Pre 6.46, this ability used to pull all units in its path along, not only heroes.
