The ancestral Spirit of Nature exists within all of the plants of the natural world. Rooftrellen is able to call upon it to release its power through the surrounding plants to cause an overgrowth of vines and branches.[1]
It's possible that this spirit came from Verodicia's seeds, which was said to contain a burgeoning spirit inside them.[2]
