Peter "ppd" Dager is an American professional Dota 2 player from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is best known for his time playing for Evil Geniuses, during which he captained the team to a victory at The International 2015. He also spent a year working as the CEO of Evil Geniuses. He retired from competitive Dota on April 20th, 2020.[1][2] He officially returned to competitive Dota on early 2021.[3]
Professional Career[]
Stay Free[]
After being a fairly well known HoN player, ppd switched to Dota in late 2013. He joined the team Stay Free with other American players and zai. While the team did not perform particularly well, ppd and zai were recognized as an impressive support duo.
Super Strong Dinosaurs[]
After showing what a strong support duo ppd and zai made, they joined Super Strong Dinosaurs with famous players Sneyking, Ar1se and ComeWithMe. The team's run was short lived however, as they disbanded a month later.[4]
S A D B O Y S/Evil Geniuses[]
ppd and zai joined S A D B O Y S with famous American Dota stars Fear and UNiVeRsE, as well as up and coming star Arteezy. The team would go undefeated in the ESP Shock Therapy Cup, and were picked up by Evil Geniuses immediately afterwards. This team would go on to be one of the best Dota teams in the world throughout the first half of 2014, finishing first at a number of large events including the Monster Energy Invitational, The Summit, MLG T.K.O. America and D2L Western Challenge. While they were expected to be the top contenders for The International 2014 along with Team DK, the team would fall to Newbee and then Vici Gaming, the two teams that would go on to place first and second respectively. After The International, ppd continued to lead his team to win many more LANs during the latter half of 2014, though started to stumble in the final month. However, in February of 2015, a newly invigorated roster won the team the Dota 2 Asia Championship 2015.
