Old Replicate
Morphling replicates any hero, friend or foe, dealing 80% of the original Hero's outgoing damage while taking 100% of any incoming damage. At any time, Morphling can instantly take the position of the Replicate for 150 mana. If Morphling dies, the Replicate will expire.

New Morph
Morphling changes his form to match the targeted enemy, gaining their basic abilities.

Notes: Copies the target enemy's model, stats, attributes and non-ultimate abilities. Morphling still stays Morphling, he only copies the model of the hero. He is not replaced by a new hero or an illusion. Applies a basic dispel on Morphling upon cast. Dying during Morph still results in a regular death.
  • This is now Morph's sub-ability. Now cancels Morph prematurely.
  • No longer has a 150 mana cost.
  • No longer disjoints projectiles upon cast.

Hybrid

Blasts the target, dealing damage or stunning and knocking it back based on the Morphling's dominant attribute between strength and agility.

New Adaptive Strike
Damages, stuns and knocks back the target. Damage, stun and knockback are determined by Morphling's agility-strength ratio. If agility is 50% higher than strength, full damage is dealt and minimum stun/knock back is applied. When strength is 50% higher than agility, minimum damage is dealt, maximum stun/knockback is applied.

Notes: Always deals damage, stuns and knocks back. The multiplier and stun values are not fixed. They adapt linearly in smooth intervals depending on the difference between Morphling's Agility and Strength. The values change with each % difference between agility in strength, even when it's just a minimal change.
Notes: These changes prevent messing up with unit selections. It also allows Morphling to cast spells and attack during Waveform.

    • Now also morph stats when manually clicking or using their hotkeys, instead of doing nothing at all.
    • Cooldown for manual cast is 1/1/0.75/0.5

Allows the Morphling to adapt to his circumstances by altering his hero type.
Notes: These abilities are from Adapt, and they provide different bonuses to Morphling depending on its primary attribute.
New Adaptive Strike
Blasts a target with magical energy, dealing damage or disabling the target based on the Morphling's dominant attribute between agility and strength.

New Replicate
The Morphling has the unique ability to replicate any target, friendly or enemy. Although it deals reduced damage, the hero can morph into the replication, instantly taking its position.

Notes: Creates an illusion of the target hero. Morphling can take its place at any time using the Morph Replicate sub-ability. The illusion's name mimics the name of the targeted player's hero. Cannot be cast on self.

Toggles Morphling's form between his own and the replicated enemy.
Cooldown: 1
Notes: This means the bonus attributes can no longer be used with Morph.

Focuses his next attack to reach further targets.

Notes: Simply deals damage based on Morphling's agility to the target. Damage is dealt instantly. Damage type is magical.
Crushing Wave
Summons a wave to blast an enemy unit.Deals damage, stuns for a short duration and moves the unit slightly backwards.

Notes: Knocks the target back instantly. Damage and stun use a projectile which travels at a speed of 3000 and can be disjointed.
Unstable Power
Increases the damage and armor of a target, but causes it to lose life over time. Castable on enemies and allies.

Attack damage bonus: 30%/40%/50%/60%
Armor bonus: 4/5/6/7
Damage per second: 15/20/25/30
Notes: Can be set to auto-cast. The damage per second is lethal. Dying to it counts as a suicide.

Counters an enemy skill through sheer force of will. Also known as Scoop. Periodically block one spell cast at the Morphling.

  • Waveform now properly gives 1000/1000 flying vision during movement and for 0.94 seconds at the destination.

    • Fixed ability triggering Linken's Sphere icon.png Linken's Sphere for all units it hits.

  • Fixed Adaptive Strike not doing its base damage.
  • Increased default hero model size by 10%.
  • Fixed cases where creating a linear projectile directly on yourself would cause it to get stuck.
  • Fixed crash when using Replicate.
  • Waveform will now continue previously-commanded movement properly.
    • Should no longer double-back after using those abilities.
