Modding allows players to customize the appearance of Dota 2. Only you will be able to see your mods, other players will see the default model or appearance.
Generally, the term "modding" can be used for any user-generated content in game, such as Steam Workshop content in Dota2.

Warnings[]
Some extensive modifications could be detected as a cheat by the Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) System. This could result in a VAC ban.
