Gameplay[]

---|---|
Marci is a monstrous carry that jumps in and out of fights easily with her Rebound which also grants her allies bonus movement speed if she jumps onto them, and catches enemies off-guard with her Dispose. Her ultimate, Unleash, combined with Sidekick, that provides an ally and herself bonus damage and lifesteal turn her into a shredder, completely decimating enemies who dare to look down on her. A highly adaptable fighter, she can either choose to be an initiator and buy Blink Dagger or become a carry that can destroy enemies with items that commend her ultimate together. Her skillset also allows her to destroy towers fast and escape imminent death whenever she senses it, however does require an aggressive mindset, and good decision-making, as one mistake can lead to her death easily. | |
Pros | Cons |
Carry[]
Marci can either play mid or in the safe lane due to her high burst damage in the early stages of the game. A simple combo with Rebound and Dispose can easily catch enemies off-guard, so Marci is suitable to play aggressively in the laning stage once she gets her levels. A carry Marci shines best with Daedalus, Abyssal Blade, or for an alternative Bloodthorn/ Silver Edge to make Marci a tremendous force to be reckoned with. Consider buying Black King Bar, as Marci can get demolished by enemies who have lock-on crowd controls to shut her down.
Hard Support/Soft Support[]
Marci's Kit is good as support for position 4 or 5, due to her high burst damage in early stages paired with good carrys she can shine and make the lane comfortable; like Lifestealer, Dawnbreaker, and others. Also her capacity to roam and ganking thanks to Rebound and Dispose; not only those are interesting points to add, she can use dispose to protect allies or start a teamfight to catch someone offguard or using dispose to grab someone and stunning in area, also the movement speed give it by the Rebound is something used well to protect or help someone in a bad spot; buffing their movement speed to escape or catching someone. The bonus life steal and damage from Sidekick helps their carrys to deal amount of damage. However, use her kit wisely because you are a squishy target and if you caught offguard you are dead aforementioned in carry's role; renember if you have someone with good engage, try to follow up and always protect your hard carry; your abilities are one target so keep this in mind.
One of your high priority item for support is the Blink Dagger, for engaging and offguard your opponent. The starter items like: the magic wand, orb of venom and the iron branch with the items consumables for your carry, also always keep mana potions with you, because your high mana cost in early game, also the boots can be Phase Boots or Tranquil Boots for roaming, sustain and survability both of these are good options to choose but I highly recommend the Tranquil Boots, seldom could be the Arcane Boots for mana sustain but these only for rarely situations. You can also use Crowd Control items like Scythe of Vyse, Eul's Scepter of Divinity or Force of Staff. The Skull Basher or Heaven's Halberd to give you some potential with Unleash but these are situational if you want to become a second carry option.

Tips & Tactics[]
General[]
- Marci struggles to get some farm done since her abilities require precision and timing, making farming a chore to deal with. Thus, it is ideal for Marci to buy items that accelerates her farming speed like Maelstrom, Armlet of Mordiggian, or for a bolder choice, Battle Fury.
- Keep in mind while Marci excels in taking ideal fights, Marci can easily walk into her own death if she happens to bite more than she could chew. Make sure to prioritize easy targets since her abilities allows her to take advantage of her early game spike.

Abilities[]
Dispose[]
- Dispose is a single-target spell that throws any unit, may it be ally or foe behind her, slowing enemies who happen to be in the area of effect behind her.
- This ability can catch enemies off guard if they are unlucky enough to be standing behind her as she ploys for a counterattack. Therefore, good Marci players take advantage of this possibility and attempt to position themselves by the correct angle in order to land the perfect Dispose, which however requires plenty of practice and accuracy.
- Since Dispose has a very short cast range, Blink Dagger is opted for when Marci is especially played as an initiator.
- In laning stage, you can throw enemies under tower while they are going for last hitting and punish them (The creeps are near the allied tower but the tower is not hitting any of the enemy creeps). It works even better with supports who has stuns, slows, etc. like Lion, Shadow Shaman, Venomancer, Earth Spirit, so that they can follow up after the slow.
- Tip needed.
Rebound[]
- Rebound works as a mobility vector-targeted spell that allows Marci to leap from one target to a certain location, dealing damage upon landing and inflict a stun for a short period of time.
- As Marci's primary mobility spell, only a value point is needed in it and Dispose due to their already powerful effects at level 1.
- For quick-cast users, ideally you must press onto a unit and then quickly choose the area to land to. This will require practice since it can easily backfire when you don't pinpoint a specific location, which may cause Rebound to not get cast at all or land at the same spot from where you blinked.
- Rebound to an enemy trying to farm a creepwave and Dispose them if your team is behind.
Sidekick[]
- Sidekick gives damage and lifesteal to both the target hero and marci herself, making it a powerful support and carry ability.
- Use on your carry or yourself while you or them last hit, if at low health, or if you need more damage to secure last hits.
- Be mindful of it's absurdly long cooldown at level 1, do not use willy-nilly.
- With the level 25 Talent, Sidekick applies a basic dispel and gives the target spell immunity.
- Use to dispel and save your teammates from powerful disables such as Orchid Malevolence, Nightmare.
Unleash[]
- Unleash is an extremely powerful right-clicking spell that turns even a support marci without damage items into a killing machine.
- Unleash gives bonus movement speed during its duration, be sure to use it to your advantage.
- The pulses do a little bit of damage, but more significantly, slow the target's movement and attack speed by a significant amount, making it hard to fight back against Marci.
- With level 25, the pulses also silence, useful for disrupting teamfights.
- Be mindful of its long cooldown and short duration, since it might be needed for an upcoming fight.
- Be mindful of disarms and evasion, as they both directly counteract this ability.

- Soul Ring synergizes well with Sidekick and provides her strength and armor early on.
- Phase Boots allows her to chase the target after Rebound and gives very useful damage and armor as well.
Mid game:
- Armlet of Mordiggian shines with the extra HP, armor, and damage from the active Unholy Strength synergizes well with Sidekick that negates the health loss.

Late game:
- Black King Bar gives additional debuff immunity on top of her Sidekick talent. It is core on the hero as it helps Marci not get kited during her ultimate.
