Legends of Dota is a custom game similar to Ability Draft. You are allowed to pick abilities from any hero from the game with some exceptions. Some exceptions are:
- Divided We Stand
- Sticky Napalm combined with Ion Shell, Blade Fury, Static Storm, Rot and other abilties that strike multiple times per second, which activates Sticky Napalm on every instance.
Notable Builds that have been made:
- Huggernaut Build ( Rot, Ion Shell, Sticky Napalm and Hookshot) The main stratagy was to Hookshot) in with Ion Shell and Rot on you. You would then cover the enemy in Sticky Napalm until they died.
- The One-Shot Build ( Jinada, Enchant Totem, Tidebringer and Grow) The Jinada critical hit would be applied through Tidebringer and Enchant Totem would be used to amplify the bonus base damage from Grow. This would create a massive critical hit in a wide Area of Effect.
Legends of Dota originally allowed only 4 abilities to be selected, but now it is 6.
