- Holy Locket must be in the owner's inventory to gain any charges. Does not gain charges while in the backpack, on the ground, in the stash, or on Courier.
- Does not gain charges from toggle abilities, active attack modifiers and the abilities listed here.
- Does not gain charges from passively triggered abilities (e.g. Quill Spray, Borrowed Time) as well.
- Does not gain charges when an enemy casts an ability while breaking out from invisibility (e.g. Moonlight Shadow).
- Can gain charges from Return and Lua error in Module:Ability_ID at line 61: Could not find Cargo data for "Walrus PUNCH!"..
- With maximum charges and Holy Blessing, it can restore up to 442 health and 340 mana.
- When having multiple Magic Stick-based items in the inventory, only the oldest one will gain charges from cast abilities. If it is full, the second oldest one starts gaining charges.
- All current charges are carried over when upgrading Magic Stick-based items.
- Shares cooldown with Magic Stick and Magic Wand.
- Refreshing the item now restores full charges of Energy Charge.
- Grants outgoing heal amplification.
- Stacks diminishingly with other sources of heal amplification.
- Neither grants health regen amplification, lifesteal amplification, nor spell lifesteal amplification.
- All healing provided by the wielder is amplified, regardless of the target.
- Multiple instances of Holy Blessing do not stack.
