- The aura's buff lingers for 3 seconds.
- Fully affects invulnerable but not hidden units.
- Grants the following effects:
- Can fully regenerate a unit's max health and mana within 20 and 16.67 seconds respectively.
- Replenishes Regenerate charges, the lingering buff is instantly removed when Regenerate charges are replenished outside the aura's effect radius.
- Invulnerability to Couriers and heroes upon respawning.
- The buff grants ally heroes invulnerability and are untargetable until a command is issued (e.g. unit orders, casting abilities, etc.) when an enemy unit is within 1200 radius.
- While invulnerable, the heroes' model is tinted black.
Fountain Damage
- Fountain Damage is considered as a conditional attack damage bonus.
- Although the attack damage bonus values are not displayed in the HUD, it is still considered and directly added to the Fountain's attack damage.
- Since it is considered bonus attack damage, it is not affected by percentage-based attack damage bonuses or reductions.
- On each attack Fountain Damage first adds 1 stack and then deals damage based on the stack count.
- This means that the bonus attack damage is applied even with the first attack.
- Each successful attack refreshes the whole stack. Missed attacks neither place the buff, nor add a stack or refresh it.
- The number of stacks is visible on the debuff icon placed on affected units.
- With its current attack rate of 6.67, Fountain Damage increases the Fountain's damage by 20 per second.
- Grants the Fountain's outgoing attacks a percentage-based accuracy preventing its attacks from being missed by 25% from evasion or blind effects.
- Stacks multiplicatively with other outgoing accuracy sources.
- Does not work against wards.

- Grants unobstructed True Sight within 1200 radius regardless of the building's actual vision.
- All effects are granted by an aura and its debuff lingers for 0.5 seconds.

- Cannot detect units under the following ability effects:
- Shadow Dance and Depth Shroud.
- Disguise and Solitary Disguise.

Reinforced Units and Buildings Deal Bonus Damage to other Reinforced Units and Buildings and take less attack damage from other units.
- Treats creep-heroes and Roshan as creeps.
- Reinforced units include all units with the Reinforced ability (i.e. Siege Creep and all buildings).
- If a non-hero unit has a piercing attack, it is only affected by the attack damage reduction against piercing attacks, and not by the reduction against non-hero units.
- Player-controlled units includes summons and Dominated creeps.
- Treat creep-heroes and illusions as heroes.
Trivia[]
- In original DotA, Fountain is considered an organic unit. As such, many heroes spells and passives works against the Fountain such as Crystal Maiden's Frostbite and Wraith King's Vampiric Aura (Pre 7.23). The former were infamously known to be able to destroy Fountain in an instant, likely due to Warcraft III engine-related bug.
