Cyclone is a status effect that causes afflicted units to be lifted up, completely disabling them, but also rendering them invulnerable. Some cyclone sources also apply a basic dispel on the target.

Mechanics[]

Cyclone is considered a stun, disabling in the same way as a stun does while the affected unit is also moved upwards in the air and spun around. The spin direction is always counter-clockwise. If the cyclone expires normally, without being interrupted, the unit lands facing the same direction they got cycloned. This means the rotation speed is not constant, and adapts based on the cyclone's duration.

While affected by cyclone, the unit also wobbles around in the air, meaning their location changes and shifts around randomly. The unit's x and y coordinates change randomly but smoothly by up to ±50. These small shifts may be enough to affect abilities like Dream Coil's leash snapping or Cold Feet getting dispelled due to distance to its marker. The only exception to this wobbling is Windranger minimap icon.png Windranger with the Compass of the Rising Gale equipped, who does not wobble around when self-casting Eul's Scepter of Divinity icon.png Eul's Scepter of Divinity or Wind Waker icon.png Wind Waker.
