Broodmother's venom cripples enemy units, causing her attacks to slow and giving the affected unit a chance to miss its attacks.

Does not pierce spell immunity. Slow and blind persist if debuff was placed before spell immunity and when not dispelled.
Buff modifier_broodmother_incapacitating_bite: Undispellable. Persists death.
Debuff modifier_broodmother_incapacitating_bite_orb: Dispellable with any dispel.
Paralytic toxins come from Black Arachnia's fangs, causing a slow and painful death to those who intrude on her webs.


  • This ability got removed and replaced by Silken Bola in the 7.29 gameplay patch.
  • Successive hits with Incapacitating Bite on the same target do not stack, only the debuff gets refreshed.
  • The attacks first apply the debuff, then their own damage.
  • Does not affect buildings, wards, or allied units when attacking them.

  • This ability got reworked into the current Silken Bola in the 7.29 gameplay patch.
  • Requires Aghanim's Shard icon.png Aghanim's Shard to be unlocked.
    • This ability is not available in Ability Draft, due to its reliance on a non-ultimate ability, which are limited to one ability slot.
  • Needs Spin Web charges to do anything. When cast while having no charges left, it does nothing but expend mana and go on cooldown.
  • The projectile travels at a speed of 1200.
  • Roots the target, preventing it from moving and casting certain mobility spells.
  • Deals 37.5 damage in 0.5-second intervals, starting 0.5 seconds after placing the debuff, resulting in 5 instances.
