GamersLeague eSport is a Norwegian multigaming e-Sports organization.

History[]

GamersLeague first appeared in Dota 2 by qualifying themselves for the Electronic Sports World Cup 2011 in the ESL Europe Qualifier alongside Natus Vincere, monkeybusiness, and BX3 Esport Club. They delivered a spectacular performance during the tournament being unbeaten in the groupstage and beating Ukrainian powerhouse and, at that time, dominator of the Dota 2 scene Natus Vincere in the process. In the semi-finals they lost to EHOME and place third in the tournament. BenQ 'The Clash' was the next tournament 4GL participated in, but they had sub-par results, losing all their games in the groupstage. One week after the BenQ 'The Clash' tournament, GamersLeague's team got picked up by e-Sport giant Fnatic.

After Fnatic picked up their team, GamersLeague acquired a new team only one week later consisting of some old DotA players and some HoN players. However, this team didn't last too long, participating in no tournaments before the three Swedish players were being picked up by Reason Gaming one and a half months later.

In July 2012, GamersLeague returned to pick up an uprising Bulgarian team, previously competing in tournaments as HelloMoto. GamersLeague also picked up a Norwegian team alongside HelloMoto.

In September 2012, SavaDoom left the team to join Darer Entertainment. PSTM and Cilium also left the team and were replaced by Zapcrash and Nyiri/chw.

In November 2012, GamersLeague picked up a new European roster (DeMeNt , bone7 , Stompa , SlhZ__ , Grizine) . This roster later disbanded.

GamersLeague later picked up a new squad consisting of Durp Durp, BlueBanana, the_apathy, XaKoH, and walleater.

In early 2015 GamersLeague eSport has again joined the competetive esports scene and have secured themselves a new dota 2 lineup of Danish players formerly known as "Kawaii"
